Donate to GDUAZ
Guide Dog Users of Arizona (GDUAZ) is a statewide membership organization comprised of blind and visually impaired Arizonans, other people who use guide dogs and others who are concerned about promoting the capabilities and access rights of people who live, travel and work with guide dogs in Arizona.
Although our cause is a worthy one, we struggle with the same challenge as faces most non-profit membership organizations namely paying for it.
By donating to GDUAZ, you will help us provide the following programs and services for our members and other people who live, work and travel with guide dogs in Arizona:
1. Hosting of GDUAZ's annual membership meeting and workshop where members, friends and other guide dog handlers can share information about working with guide dogs in Arizona
2. Administration of the GDUAZ website where members can access information about traveling with guide dogs, about GDUA and about our parent organizations the Arizona Council of the Blind and Guide Dog Users, Inc.
3. Support of a statewide network of experienced guide dog users who can serve as peers and mentors for other guide dog users in the event of questions, concerns or problems. This is particularly helpful for new guide dog handlers.
4. Support of our state and local educational, informational and advocacy efforts on behalf of the needs and capabilities of blind and visually impaired Arizonans and guests who live, work and travel with guide dogs
Donating to support GDUAZ is easy and may be tax-deductible. You can do so immediately and safely through PayPal.
